How To Clean Your Venetian Blinds
How To Clean Your Venetian Blinds
Firstly, we want to inform you that our cleaning methods involving liquids are suitable for aluminium Venetian blinds and PVC plastic or synthetic blinds only because they're waterproof. When it comes to cleaning wooden slats though; water can warp the wood which will cause permanent damage.
If you're looking to keep your blinds clean and dust-free, we recommend regularly washing them. You can do this by vacuuming or using a brush on the outside of each window for better results than just wiping it down with cloths. Every week is ideal but if there's less time in between work schedules then every two weeks won't hurt either - as long it remains consistent!
There are a few different dusting methods to choose from, but the best one is using your feather duster. It's not only efficient and takes less time than other methods do; it'll also get rid of dirt particles efficiently without pulling any fibers or catching ladders in its path! We recommend using microfibres for this job because they're super lightweight so you can easily move around each slat while cleaning up all kinds of bacteria.
Vacuuming is a great way to keep your blinds clean and smudge-free. You can use the soft brush attachment on most vacuums, but make sure it's not too strong or you might bend some of them! For really dirty jobs use an all-inclusive Venetian cleaner tool
Removing Stains From Venetian Blinds
To clean any spills and stains on your items, mix one part warm water with two parts mild detergent. For stronger cleaners that might be too strong for the fabrics, you're cleaning or if it is an item. Stain removal requires professional attention so we encourage spot testing first before applying full strength directly onto surfaces where the fabric has been affected as this can cause permanent damage including color loss!
